Pico de Orizaba, also called CitlaltÚpetl, is a volcano, similar to the other (recently more active) volcanoes around Mexico City, including PopocatÚpetl, at 5426m the 2nd highest peak in Mexico. It is the second most prominent volcanic peak in the world after Africa’s Mount Kilimanjaro.
